With the holidays just around the corner, today the Sloat Parents’ Club Organization is kicking off a holiday sales fundraiser with Mixed Bag Designs. Along with their great reusable bags and accessories, Mixed Bag Designs also offers a fabulous selection of kitchen and home items. Please take a look at the two catalogs and order form sent home in your child’s Wednesday Envelope.The deadline for orders is Friday, November 4.

To make a purchase, please fill out the order form and submit it with your payment (cash or check payable to “Commodore Sloat School Fund”) to your child’s teacher, or place it in the PCO mailbox (located in the office) in an envelope marked “Holiday Fundraiser.” There are no shipping charges when you place your order using the form, and you do not need to calculate tax. Our school will receive 50% of the sales proceeds for all items ordered in this way.

All items purchased by form will be delivered to school by the first week in December, and we will send them home to you in your child’s backpack (if they fit!) We will need you to come into school to collect any large orders, so please be sure to include your phone number and/or email address on the forms so we can contact you to let you know your items are available for pick-up.

In addition, Commodore Sloat will receive 40% of the sales proceeds for purchases made by friends and family online at www.mixedbagdesigns.com, provided they specify our school fundraiser ID number, which is 266002, when they place their order. So please spread the word about our Mixed Bag Designs fundraiser with anyone you think might be interested in making a purchase online. Important, please note: unlike purchases made using the order form, online purchases will be subject to tax and shipping charges, and will be mailed directly to the purchaser.
