I was born and raised in San Francisco. When I was six, I adored my first grade teacher and I wanted to be a teacher ever since. I grew up in the Richmond district and went to Washington High School, SF City College and SF State. When I got married I moved to the Sunset, and now you can often see me walking my Welsh Corgi, Buster, around the park. My daughter is away at college and my son is in high school. I also have a grown-up stepdaughter who has two school-aged daughters, so I’m also a grandma. My family loves to walk, hike and bike ride around the Bay Area. As some of you know, I also love to sew costumes and make quilts. Curling up with a good book is wonderful. I feel blessed to be part of the Commodore Sloat community teaching Kindergarten for over 14 years.
