Alex Akin is a San Francisco native. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Musical Theater. She spent 5 years performing across New York City and then moved back to the Bay, still performing, but also continuing her journey in education. She teaches after school drama throughout the district through the New Conservatory Theatre Center’s Teaching Artist program. She’s very excited to be a part of the Commodore Sloat team!
