The 5th grade got another visit from two UCSF Science Education Partnership (SEP) medical students this week. They taught the kids about the heart and circulatory system.  The kids played “the blood” game to learn about the 4 chambers of the heart, listened to  their own resting and active heart beats and even got a chance to look at and disect lamb hearts to see with their own eyes what its all about! There were lots of squeamish looks and curious eyes, but also lots of learning and excitement!
